Identities, Relationships and Languages in Migration

Sept. 25-27th
Cagliari (Sardinia) - Italy

Throughout history the Mediterranean Sea has been a vessel for both conflict and exchange. The island of Sardinia, site of the 2015 Intercultural Horizons conference, has historically been a strategic point in trade and exchange of the Mediterranean peoples. In this crucible of cultural and commercial encounters, the Intercultural Horizons conference committee is seeking session presenters for the 5th annual conference “Identities, Relationships and Languages in Migration.” An opportunity for exchange of best-practices, creative ideas and original research, this conference provides direct networking with influential individuals in the intercultural studies and related fields.

The conference will address a wide variety of themes regarding intercultural encounters and intercultural communication as they intersect with the overall theme of migration, languages and identity. Presenters come from four continents to present research and share experience. To view the conference program click here.

There will also be the unique opportunity to participate in one of two pre-conference workshops (offered at no additional cost beyond registration fees):

Additionally, a series of optional activities is offered at an extra cost per person to help you make the most of your stay in Cagliari. Enjoy wine tasting, tours and archaeologic sites with other participants. The cultural association "L'Isola che Vorrei" is helping us to offer this unique experience to our participants.
